Sketching out my plan for hanging some work in my studio building hallway. Making art is only part of the work. Presentation is an essential part of the process. I make my own floats and frames for some smaller work to display in my studio and for small pop up shows and I take pride in clean well crafted presentation. Here I was working on the measurements for hanging my work for display just outside of my studio. Hanging by eye doesn't work when you are hanging art with the same dimensions. Hanging takes time, planning and the right tools.
