These are primal marks. The kind you make before you have words. Sometimes I work so hard to get to that special place in my mind. A place with only a visual vocabulary.

White plays a part again here where the holes are accentuated by additional marks.
It's a funny little experiment. It's crazy, fun, fuzzy.

Finally, dealing with the March drawings. March 1st on May first I write this little post.
Energetic this one.

Almost to the end of February with my uploads and blog posts. It's a bit of a direction change with some strange blurry tools and using white to obliterate and sometimes blend with colors. I always have a lot of different mediums in white for my work. I like using it additively instead of an eraser. I tested that out in this drawing and I think I'll try it in some upcoming.

This drawing feels a bit like a box was opened and the wind blew it's contents about the room.
It is energetic, happy, joyful, and surprising.

I like it's tempo.

Part three of my studio saga.

Finally after calling stew — she saved me — I had my keys and got into my studio.

I then had a full afternoon of drawing.

Sometimes it's really a good day to look at someone else's work and get inspired.
