This is a new series of posts documenting my process of creating a new studio. The space will serve as a personal art studio. Heavybubble HQ and gallery space. This requires some careful thought. Gathering requirements, physical attributes and needs; all contribute to a successful outcome.

Let's start at the beginning.

• The new space is 18' x 25'
• All the windows face north
• high ceiling
• third [top] floor
• finished wood floors
• six tenths of a mile walk from where I live
• has a window air conditioner
• walls are currently painted an acid green
