So far 600 Drawings has been a really fun installation with great visitors and some new collectors. I'm happy to send these three drawings to another artist in Connecticut. I love the selection he made.
I can remember making all three months apart.
600-467 Made with a Red Micropen on White Stonehenge paper. Overlapping at the edge of repetive marks similar to writing creates a surprising texture.
600-126 Made with green Gel Pen and POSCA Marker on White Stonehenge paper. This is a grid that I set for a number of the drawings and expect to experiment with it more.
600-240 Made with soft graphie and white paint marker on Rives BFK. I always love to make graphiite and white drawings.
I'm working on my catalog and making images available at my website.
600 drawings 4x4 2019, is the result of a drawing project — making at least one drawing each day. This project involved the use of four-inch squares of paper of various weights, colors, and surfaces. I found that many small pieces could be cut out of remnants of paper in my studio.
Year long projects help expand my vocabulary, they create new phrases and expletives. Join me to see the hundreds of drawings I made in this series. All the drawings will be for a sale unframed at an incredibly affordable price.
Join me on the two Preview dates to purchase your favorites and pick them up at the closing party.
