I've grown weary of dealing with Facebook. I never liked it but tried it out because I always check out platforms. It's an easy place to reach people because they strangely feel safe there.
It's a pit of steaming junk, a dumpster fire.
I'm giving folks plenty of new places to find me because I'm not posting there. I don't do anything with my personal profile anymore only my art page. I want to bring that to an end too.
Many artists a bailing wanting to be Zuckfree.

A trio of drawings. They would love to be hung together. These are all from my experimental drawings during 2019.

Another of my 600 experimental drawings available as part of the #artistsupportpledge on Instagram instigated by UK artist Matthew Burrows. Why so cheap you say? Because I made 600 drawings and I want people to be able to own original art. At this price you can buy 1, 2, 3, 4 or more. You can give them as gifts, save them as stocking stuffers, by one for a friend and one for yourself.
If you would like them framed I can do that too. Help keep artists earning. I'll keep it affordable for you.

I'm participating. Let generosity be infectious.
Not sure you know about the community organizing around the #artistsupportpledge but these are two of my drawings I'm offering. This was initiated and is mainly on instagram. I'm sharing some of my offerings here. Buy some art, support artists, be generous and spread some joy.
I'm offering drawings for my recent show 600 drawings. They are 4x4 inches on paper, unframed and only 20 bucks each.
This mainly is taking place on Instagram but has spilled over to Twitter and Facebook.

I have been working on a way to be connected that sheds toxic social networks. A place free of memes and ranting. A kind and constructive place where we can converse about art and the influences that inform it especially in context to my work. I have been preparing my presence on Patreon for several months now. It’s an ad free environment where you can be part of my creative process wander around my studio and talk about what's happening.

So far 600 Drawings has been a really fun installation with great visitors and some new collectors. I'm happy to send these three drawings to another artist in Connecticut. I love the selection he made.
I can remember making all three months apart.
600-467 Made with a Red Micropen on White Stonehenge paper. Overlapping at the edge of repetive marks similar to writing creates a surprising texture.

Finally installed all 600 drawings for my February show. The preview sale days were wonderful for talking with visitors and collectors.
I'm trying to remove myself from FaceBook. I've been getting the word out with email campaigns so please join my list.
Looking forward to the weekend hours. Hope to see you.
I'm also working on the show catalog as quickly as I can to have them available early spring.

This year I used some found paper from one of our rituals — the assembly of IKEA furniture.
So many people complain about their assembly instructions which we find pretty darn clear in most circumstances. What's really tricky is actually counting everything in the box at least twice, deciding if their directions need to be followed in exactly the order they give you, and of course hacking the furniture by changing knobs, painting parts.
I made some annotations on each book. They are observations and suggestions to make the experience better.
