Testing variations on my new brushes.

Pretty crazy some of these marks. Still loving every minute of doing a drawing a day.

Using some of the same marks that I have added to my toolkit.

I've also started creating my own color palette. Moving beyond the default swatches. Moving to a set of colors that I can use for a whole series of images before needing to change.

In my last drawing I made a new tool that created a whole different mark. I embraced that new tool and made this drawing. Experimenting with a few more marks and keeping the palette limited.

Making some new drawing implements. Great new marks.

Going back to less in this drawing. Trying to be more spontaneous. No thinking. Just remembering to breathe as I make each mark. It felt wonderful to make this one.

A more is more approach.

Actually wanted to get back to doing some more pencil scribbling. Tried it out and this is the first result. I've already started a new one using the same set of tools.

A ball of energy floating in space. Another adventure in leaving white space.

A bit of a deviation. Some new marks and open space. Looking at how constellations can be joined.

Trying something a little airy this time around.

I actually had a different drawing that was coming along and I deleted it somehow. The dangers of digital. Oh well, it happens.

This was another surprise.

I worked on creating a more complex layered drawing. Now that I see the drawing full size I see it needs more work. Maybe I will revisit it.

Well, that was a surprise.

I wanted to work in black and white to concentrate more on the shapes and brushes I could make. New discoveries about strokes in this one. Getting this energetic thing moving so the quieter drawings will come.
