It was a three day event but well worth every second. Additional images of the complete adventure soon. Still basking in the joy of my opening reception last night.

I just ordered more mats and envelopes. I love red dots.

I have been hanging drawings for two days. Today is day three and I will have 10 months ready for my Opening Reception on First Friday. It is quite the project when I see all of the images in one place. More pics and story to come. I'm a bit busy right now.

Going back to the minimal.

Just three hues of lightly drawn marks. These are experiments with the beginning and end of the marks. It’s all about the edges.

Some familiar marks but experienced in a new way.

I love being able to make marks that feel like analog marks when I am making them and when I see them in the final drawing.

I am experimenting with drawings that are like this in the studio. I hope to have some to show at Open Studios.

That’s how I felt and that’s what happened with the drawing.

Investigating joined background fields. This is a little messy but it’s a good start.

I spent so much of my day up and down this very ladder. Adjusting lights, hanging drawings in progress, moving this and that. What a long and productive day in the studio.
