Some play with lines that have velocity.
I was thinking of the woods and bark when I drew this. Walking down a narrow mountain path.

A change in marks.

Not sure how this started but I made some white lines to segment the underlying textures. This one is playful and I like it that way.

Again.

Making marks familiar. different color choice creates a different rhythm.

These are very interesting to me.

This time more dense. drawn more deliberately and in a compressed space. I like what happens.

Embracing simple repitition.

This is a stroke that comes from a very simple motion and I decided to really make a couple drawings where I didn’t think at all —more like my in studio process.

Accepting simplicity.

Bending some of the lines that I love. Expressive of velocity.

Technology can offer you some fun and unexpected turns. Here I used a paint fill for some unexpected results.

I like the mass they add to the lines.
